Off-road Conversions

WHAT IT DOES

An off-road conversion turns your truck or Bronco from “capable” to “bring it on.” It’s not just a lift kit and big tires… it’s a full reconfiguration of the suspension, stance, lighting, armor, and driveline geometry to handle real terrain. Whether you're building for mud, rocks, sand, or snow, a proper off-road setup needs to be purpose-built. Every terrain demands a different approach. From mild weekend warriors to full-on trail rigs, we tailor each build to fit your goals, your driving style, and your terrain of choice.

WHY IT MATTERS

A true off-road conversion isn’t just about looks, it’s about confidence, durability, and control in unpredictable environments. Here's why that matters:

  • Better Clearance: So you're not dragging your diff through the dirt or bashing your oil pan on rocks.

  • Improved Suspension Travel: So your wheels stay planted instead of hanging mid-air.

  • Durable Components: That can actually take a hit! Think skid plates, steel bumpers, reinforced tie rods, etc.

  • Traction You Can Trust: With tire/tread combos and lockers that match your terrain.

  • Lighting And Visibility: For when the trail doesn’t end just because the sun does.

And maybe most importantly… it looks badass! Regardless of whether you’re deep in the woods or deep in the drive-thru.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR

Off-road conversions are technical. Not all setups are created equal. Here are a few common mistakes we see and the trade-offs to consider:

  • Too Much Lift, Not Enough Geometry Correction: Just cranking up the height without correcting caster, camber, or driveshaft angles leads to poor handling and premature wear.

  • Loud But Useless Tires: Big mud tires look tough, but if you're daily driving on pavement, they'll eat gas, hum like a jet engine, and wear unevenly.

  • No Re-Gearing After Upsizing Tires: Jumping from stock tires to 35s or 37s without changing axle ratios kills your torque, towing, and MPG.

  • Overloaded Suspension Setups: Add too many heavy accessories (bumpers, racks, gear) without beefing up springs or shocks and you’ll sag like a worn-out mattress.

That’s why our conversions are more than bolt-ons. They’re dialed-in systems that account for weight, clearance, ride quality, and terrain type.
